Haggerty Steel Breaks Ground

Ornamental iron and structural steel fabricator Haggerty Steel, Inc. has broken ground on the construction of its new facility located at 374 Circle of Progress Drive in Pottstown.

Owners Tom and Jim Haggerty plan to have the 9,000-square-foot building situated on a 1.25-acre lot completed and ready for occupancy by the middle of September.

Haggerty Steel serves the commercial and residential markets. The company expects to employ at least 8 – 10 at this location involved in all facets of the business including estimating, detailing, fabrication, delivery, installation, and erection. The company works with a variety of materials including steel, stainless steel, aluminum and brass as well as a number of finishes such as paint, powder coating, anodized, galvanized, and polished.

The construction/permanent loan was provided by Phoenixville Federal Bank & Trust. Scenic Ridge Construction is the general contractor for the project.
